Thirty-five of the nation’s 100 biggest metropolitan areas are on the rebound, but South Florida is still sinking, according to a report issued Wednesday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Miami-Fort Lauderdale area had 1,843,300 private sector jobs as of August, down 228,700 jobs over a three-year sinking streak.
